When you use Seoglen, we may collect the following types of information:

Account Information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication details provided through our identity provider.

Report Data: Domain names, URLs, and country selections you submit to generate SEO reports. We also store the generated reports (keyword data, scores, AI-generated recommendations) in our database.

Payment Information: When you purchase a report, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details — Stripe handles this directly. We store a record of the transaction (amount, status, Stripe session ID).

Technical Information: Browser type, IP address, and basic device information collected through server logs and optional analytics.

Under UK GDPR, we process your personal data on the following lawful bases:

Contract: We process account information and report data to provide the SEO analysis service you requested. This is necessary to perform our contract with you.

Legitimate Interests: We process usage data and technical information to improve our service, maintain security, and prevent fraud. We have balanced these interests against your rights and believe they do not override your fundamental rights.

These include Stripe (payment processing), Google (authentication and analytics), Keycloak (identity management), DataForSEO (SEO and SERP data), and OpenAI (AI-generated recommendations). We limit the data shared to what is necessary. These providers may retain data under their own policies.

Legal Obligations: We may share information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

Business Changes: If Seoglen or its assets are transferred in a business transaction, personal data may be transferred to the new owner, subject to any legal restrictions.

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the United Kingdom and European Economic Area (EEA).

We use cloud infrastructure providers and AI services that may process data in the United States and other countries.

Report Data (generated SEO reports): Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion.

Payment Records (transaction records): Retained for 7 years as required by UK law.

Technical Logs (IP addresses, access logs): Retained for 90 days for security and debugging purposes.

You can request account deletion by contacting privacy@seoglen.com. We will complete deletion within 30 days, except for data we must retain for legal compliance.

Seoglen uses artificial intelligence to generate SEO recommendations and explanations based on keyword and SERP data. This is an automated process.

How it works: When you generate a report, we collect SERP and keyword data from third-party providers, then pass relevant data to an AI service to generate explanations, scores, and recommendations.

Accuracy disclaimer: AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or hallucinations. Recommendations are generated automatically and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for business decisions. SEO data can change frequently and may not reflect current search engine results.

No significant automated decisions: We do not make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. Reports are informational tools, not definitive assessments.

We do not use your submitted domains, URLs, or report data to train our own AI models.

We use cookies to make the service work and, with your consent, to understand how the service is used.

Essential cookies (authentication, payment sessions) are necessary for the site to function.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are only loaded after you give consent via the cookie banner.

We use commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures (such as HTTPS, encryption, and access controls) to protect user data.

However, no internet service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

Seoglen is not intended for children under 13 years of age.
